When I started to write this post two weeks ago it was about him sitting up - finally! I started to write that he is sitting up on his own and how life was about to change. Then, guess what? It did! He started crawling last weekend!
Where was Mommy? Tasting wine in the vineyards of Santa Ynez with my bestest friend Reid for two amazing days with just us girls. While it's our 20th high school reunion this month in Virginia, she instead flew from Colorado to Los Angeles to celebrate with just the two of us. So super lovely.
Here is Xavier crawling for the second time -- second time for me at least. He's so determined!

Love the diving catch.
I love his technique of one knee down, a sort of tripod crawl which gives much greater push for the lunging catch. Clever and adorable Xavier.
