ooh... good question. based on my scientific observations that a) addie and clara had their belly buttons tied off by the same doctor and b) addie has an outie and clara has an innie and c) sarah has an outie and I have an innie... i conclude that it must be genetic.

i have an innie which kind of screws up the genetic connection - although snorg and i don't exactly share a lot of the same traits so our genetics might be a bit off.
