Addie Ghost

Addie brought home this magnificent piece of holiday appropriate art last night from daycare. Addie's finely colored ghost is displayed on our refrigerator along with two other artworks made with chalk on construction paper that she did at daycare. At home we have a drawing pad and crayons where she creates one masterpiece after another. The drawing usually taking about 1 minute. The crayon tip eating and being chased around with the crayons takes about 3.

Ok. That is too cute. That you have artwork on your fridge makes me all giddy. SO CUTE!

Addie makes excellent use not only of color but of space. I am reminded of Sarah's minimalist work: one line of color per area. The chasing with crayons sounds familiar! Bits of color between the teeth and along gumlines is just part of the total artistic experience.

Do they still make paint-with-water books? She might like that too (and the added benefit of spilled water).

I think Addie must have inherited her parents' artistic talents. bravo.
