Part of a land-art project in 2006, an industrial brownfield site was transformed into a cornfield. Since then the 32 acres just north of downtown have been planted with wildflowers by Farmlab and is now the Los Angeles State Historic Park. Sandwiched between our trip to the aquarium, a shody nap and an afternoon playdate, I drove our gang of 3 downtown to check it out. It was pretty cool.

i am grateful for small plots.

Your photog skills make me extremely jealous. I always used to attribute my failed attempts to subpar equipment, but in this day and age, even the cheap cameras take great quality photos if you know how to use them. It's all about the composition, depth of field and all those stupid buttons I can never figure out. Maybe I need to take a class myself in preparation for our baby. It's almost like Addie is being followed around by her own personal Leibowitz.
I love the rolling in the grass shot. You two are having such a great time!
