8 foot Noble Fir, baby!
Addie insisted she wanted a medium sized tree so we had to tell her that this was medium sized. Sure, it was the tallest at this particular location but compared to say, the tree at Rockefeller Plaza or even The Grove here in Los Angeles it pales in comparison. While Cap was selecting our tree, Addie (dressed as Sleeping Beauty, or as she says Sleeping Doody) swept up the pine needles. She had found some on our hall rug earlier in the day from our wreath and exclaimed, "I think we don't want this in our house. It's messy!"

Just thinking how many princesses-in-the-making have issues with keeping things clean. Cinderella, Snow White and yes, Sleeping Beauty. Good trait for a princess!
